Support for Medical Bills and Prosthetics

My name is Cathy Robison. I have had a really rough couple of years. In 2010, I had the worst year. My dad died in February, and then in April, I was in an automobile accident and had 17 surgeries. Then I had to make the hardest decision of my life. I told them just to take off my leg. I had so much pain before the surgery, so it was the right decision to make.

This year has been the roughest. I had 3 surgeries in two months, ended up with bone infections, and ended up septic twice. I had to go to Mayo Clinic, where I am now, and have been since October 11th. The plan is to have surgery on the 24th and then again on the 30th. The doctor is trying to keep it below the knee, but the chance is very slim. So the bills will be outrageous and there's no way I'll be able to pay the bill, let alone the new prosthetic and wound vac therapy and hyperbaric therapy to heal the stump. I thank you for helping. Any amount is good. Prayers are welcome as well. Well, I'm still at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Getting ready for surgery number two! Then I have to be up here for hyperbaric therapy for seven weeks. So, please help if you can. The price of a room for seven weeks is not going to be cheap. All I want to do is cry! I'm up here alone and I miss going to church and my family.

Great news everyone!! O don't have to be here for the seven weeks for the hyperbaric therapy, I only have to be here two weeks for the hyperbaric therapy, PRAISE GOD!!!! Then the second surgery (yesterday the 30th) went EXCELLENT!!! It looked all clean inside and the bone looked really clean. So, needless to say, I still have my knee! He didn't have to take it all off, meaning it's below knee still!! PRAISE GOD for ANSWERED PRAYERS!!!
