Support for Mekhi's Family in Tragic Loss

On July 2nd at 4am Mekhi’s Mom, Narisa Hoosein received a horrid text message stating that “I have been involved in a car accident” and was sent his location to where the accident occured. When she arrived at the scene of the accident there was yellow tape that was marked do not cross. At that moment she knew something was not right. After a few minutes she was met with a homicide detective and found out her son had passed away. Mekhi was only 9 minutes away from home when he had been hit by a drunk driver going over 100mph on a local road. Mekhi Hoosein Quiles was a 21 year old beloved member of the community. Mekhi had such a bright future going for him. He had just signed his agreement to commit to St. Thomas University the day before. He also had an internship he was going to start in the upcoming fall. Mekhi’s family is completely devastated at the loss they are currently facing. Not only mourning the loss of their beloved son, grandson, nephew, brother, and friend but also now faced with a tremendous cost to be able to bury their loved one.
On behalf of the community and his coworkers at Mcdonalds, I am starting this Gofundme to help Mekhi’s mother, Narisa Hoosein and her family raise money towards the cost of Mekhi’s family.
Every donation no matter how small will help Narisa and her entire family during this extremely difficult time.
