Support for Melanie - In Memory of Sorchi

With Melanie's blessing, although certainly not by her petition, this is a place for people to honor Sorchi's (Lili) life by blessing and supporting Melanie during this time. Over the last few years, I watched Melanie support, accept, and love Sorchi in ways that left me speechless. The safety, beauty, and healing that marked that relationship was stunning to witness. This is a way for us all to honor that relationship and commitment by easing any financial burdens or stress during this time.

For clarity's sake, it is unclear how much of the financial responsibility for memorial services Melanie will take on as the planning is being done in conjunction with Sorchi's biological family. These funds are to be used at Melanie's full discretion. Any funeral expenses & medical expenses associated with Sorchi's stay in the hospital, sure. But also just the light bill, therapy, or pizza orders every night until grief makes enough space for things like cooking dinner again.

Let's shower Melanie in love and support so that she can take care of herself (and Sorchi's friends that inevitably will and already have gravitated towards Melanie as they look for a space to grieve) during this time.
