Support for Michael Ann's In-Home Care

Hi, my name is Kristen & I am hoping to raise money to help my mom & dad during this very difficult time.

My mom, Michael Ann, has struggled with liver disease for the past few years. This past January, we were told by specialists that she was at no point in her disease where she would qualify for a transplant. However, since then her condition has escalated & we were told last month that her life is now short, her condition has worsened & is now on the opposite end of the spectrum that she would not qualify for a transplant.

She is now home on hospice & we are doing everything we can to keep her comfortable, happy, & at home.

For anyone who knows my mom, knows how heart shattering this news is. Kind, beautiful, fun, special, funny; are only a few words that only begin to describe how amazing she is!

For those of you who didn’t have the pleasure of knowing her; she spent her life as a teacher, retiring as a hearing impaired teacher some years ago. She has been a loving wife to my dad for 47 years, an incredible mother of 4 & grandmother to 4 granddaughters, & a best friend to so many!

At this time my mom requires two caretakers at all times so we are hoping to raise money to provide my parents with extra in-home care & to also help them with additional expenses & bills.
