Support for Michael Peyton

Hi, my name is Amanda (Aymond) Williams and I am fundraising for my dear high school classmate (Class of 1993), Michael Peyton.

Michael was diagnosed with colon cancer and it has metastasized to his stomach. He has already had 1/3 of his colon removed and is waiting at home for that to heal before having another surgery to hopefully remove the rest of the cancer still growing in his stomach. He is extremely sick but is fighting hard!!

Yesterday he had a port for chemo put in, but he is unable to get the pet scan that he needs because his insurance continues to refuse to cover the cost (ugh!!). The plan for now is to get a couple chemo treatments then do the second surgery after a couple of months.

Michael was always one of the nicest, kindest guys in our class. He was and still is an amazing person, husband and dad to 3 beautiful daughters. I know this is weighing on him and his family. He and Janet just celebrated his 19th wedding anniversary.
