Support for Michael's Family in Difficult Times
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that we share that my brother, Michael Apgar, unexpectedly passed away yesterday and left this world with many on this earth grieving over his loss. His story was not done yet….his life was cut short with zero warning….and no one knows how to process this moment. He had a bright smile that lit up a room with his mighty “Mike” stance, adorned often with concert or tie-dye t-shirts, had a true love for great music and an amazing Phish Concert, a laugh that was infectious and inviting….he was one who always seemed to have it all together…..he had a compassionate and fun loving presence amongst his family, his dear best friends and amongst his coworkers. MOST importantly, his whole world was his wife, Robyn, of 20 years, his 19 year old daughter Hannah, his 15 year old son Noah…..they loved life and did it all together….all the great stuff…the stuff that brings great memories but also brings great sorrow because he was loved so much and life without him is going to be unimaginable.
At this time, we are hoping to develop this GoFundMe page to possibly bring some form of relief in any small way we can to help them as they navigate this very difficult and challenging time. Although the last thing she wants to think about is expenses, it goes without saying that the unexpected expenses and fears with this loss are something that no wife and mother that is grieving over the loss of her true love should ever have to do alone. She and her children will need help…..from every angle…through prayer, in person with their home, meals for growing kids, funeral expenses, college expenses……LIFE in all its forms emotionally, financially and spiritually. Hannah is attending college and the question of whether they will be able to continue to afford it has been discussed. Vehicles will have to be sold, many changes will have to be made that they never expected they would have to do. Many plans have to be made very suddenly in a small amount of time, and if some financial burdens could be relieved in any way I truly know that they would be eternally grateful to you all. My brother is watching his family on this day…...and I have no doubt that the one thing he would be saying is “Please….take care of my family.” So as a community, far and near….can I please ask you all to join with me to help them in any way you can.
As Robyn says, the pain she feels right now is the love that she has for HIM that is so deep and so powerful and so apart of herself that this love within her has no place to go. While Robyn, Hannah and Noah go through these feelings they can’t possibly understand, let's bring her a sliver of joy from everyone around her. Please share this GoFundMe page in any way you can.
THANK YOU so very much for anything that you feel led to do at this time.
