Support for Michelle Skylyn's Farewell Service

Hello everyone, my name is Samantha. I am the mother to this beautiful 4-month-old princess named Michelle Skylyn. On 7/8/2024, my fiancé Raymond and I lost our baby girl earlier this month. We are asking for help with this unexpected loss to be able to give our angel a proper service and a proper farewell. I tell you, life is so short and it can go in a matter of seconds; cherish your family, your children, and the people you hold dear to you. Anything helps, even a share. Everything is appreciated.

The Beginning of our journey with our baby girl

Michelle is the 4th child and has 2 sisters and a brother. I found out I was pregnant with Michelle after suffering two miscarriages. I found out on July 6th, 2023, that I was finally pregnant again and was so nervous and so anxious because I didn’t want to lose my pregnancy all over again like the last 2. My due date was 03/10/2024. A week before my 29th birthday, I found out that I had stage 2 ovarian cancer and was told that in order to receive treatment for it not to spread, I would have to abort my pregnancy. I refused to do that because I had faith that I was going to make it through this pregnancy.

In late August, after finding out about having my illness, I found out that I had a subchorionic hematoma that was in the lining of my placenta in my uterus and that I could possibly miscarry my fetus. In that same month, I was illegally terminated from my job due to having these issues with my pregnancy but that didn’t stop me from giving up! A few months later, I started taking iron treatments for anemia while pregnant because my cancer was progressing to stage 3. On February 19th, 2024, I went into spontaneous labor and had Michelle at 37 weeks & 1 day gestation. February 20th, 2024, I had my cancer removed along with both ovaries after having Michelle.

These last 4 months that we have spent with our little girl,has been truly a blessing. she was truly loved and so special. I can’t believe that from one day to the next my whole life has changed. Please keep us in your prayers. This journey has been very hard for us to process and I have no idea on how I’m supposed to cope with losing my little girl.
