Hi family and friends. Some of you may be aware but a lot of you may not have heard. One of my best friends, Michelle Tessier DiRamio, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Michelle has battled with Multiple Sclerosis and a number of other health issues for many years. Now she has cancer on top of everything else.
Michelle's mom passed away from complications related to breast cancer in her early 50’s. So, as you can guess, this is an emotional time for Michelle and her family. She is trying to stay positive and is up for the challenge and willing to fight.
Michelle will have surgery on Valentine's Day. After surgery she will have chemotherapy once a week for 5 months. After the chemo she will have radiation therapy. It will be a tough battle but Michelle won't give up.
We are asking our family, friends and community to join us to support Michelle in her battle against breast cancer. We are seeking donations to help cover any medical expenses not covered by insurance (any doctor approved supplements, medical supplies to help patients undergoing chemo), living expenses, food/meals, and any other related expenses so she and her family can focus on her treatment and getting healthy again.
Michelle is blessed and thanks everyone for the cards, gifts, delicious meals, support and prayers she has gotten since her diagnosis.
