Support for Mike Osborne

About a week ago, Mike’s appendix ruptured while at home. By the time Mike was able to get to the hospital, his body was Septic, and his organs were in distress. He has since been in critical condition in ICU ever since.

Mike has had numerous surgeries to remove the infection, and in doing so, they have had to remove much of his colon. So even after recovery, Mike will have ongoing medical procedures to endure.

If you know Mike, you know he is absolutely one of the best guys out there with an enormous heart. Mike will drop anything to help a friend or family in need. When his mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's a couple of years ago and needed care, Mike left his job to be his mother's caregiver to keep her from being placed in nursing care. He was with her day in and day out and never waivered. His mom has since passed, and Mike recently returned to the workforce. Unfortunately, this was just a few months ago, and he does not yet have insurance.

As you can imagine, the medical expenses of being in ICU for over a week and the additional medical procedures he will need are astronomical. We started this page with the guidance of his son Caleb and family to help gather funds to relieve some of the financial hardship during this time. All funds received will go directly to the family to help with medical and household expenses while being in the hospital.

The family is asking that only family visit at this time, so we will use this page to keep everyone updated as well. All the kind words and prayers are also very appreciated.
