Support for Mrs. Jean Dennis's Memorial

Hello, my name is David Peyton, Mrs. Jean's eldest son and on behalf of the entire family, I am writing to everyone today with a heavy heart. As you all may know, my mother, Mrs. Jean V. Dennis, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024.

Mama Jean (she would want to just be called Má) will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Má loved her family and friends and she cared deeply that we all strive to remember our roots; "Honor thy father and thy mother," she'd say. Her warm smile and infectious laugh could be relied upon to light up any room she entered. Má would often make herself available for friends & family when they needed advice or just someone to listen. Má is now in God's Hands and is being comforted by His Grace. We love you Má.

Unfortunately, my mother's life insurance policy was no longer in effect at the time of her death. This has created many additional challenges, as you can imagine. We have had to make the difficult decision of cremation. Additionally, we have opted for a memorial service and repast rather than a formal funeral.

That said, help is still needed to achieve our modest goal. No amount is too large, or too small. We need to have all funds collected by the 25th if we are to have the service on Friday, June 28th. Please help with whatever you can. Together we can honor her memory because hers was a beautiful soul.
