Support for Ms. Reynoso and Her Family

Dear BHS community,

Many of you know Dorothy Reynoso as a beloved member of the BHS staff. She is our S.A.P.I.S. (Substance Abuse Prevention and Intervention Specialist) counselor, on our Restorative Justice team and regularly serves as a shoulder to cry on for our kids. Many refer to her as a "School Mom" or "School Aunt" and at home she's also a mother.

We were absolutely devastated to learn that Ms. Dorothy lost her daughter, Emily (10 years old), this past Friday, May 5th, 2023. Emily was recently diagnosed with leukemia and was fighting a brave battle against many odds. She was receiving treatment and passed away unexpectedly from a complication of this treatment.

The entire BHS community is mourning this loss with her. We would like to support her in any way we can during this time of need. All funds collected will contribute towards the family’s imminent needs (funeral expenses, meals, etc).
