Support for My niece Melissa Cook
Donation protected
As you all may or may not know, Melissa Cook had a very intense surgery on Friday July 27th. She was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer 2 years ago. She went through Chemo and has done quite well with one of the most positive attitudes I have seen considering what she had to face. She has check ups every 3 months and they check the CA-125 Blood work which can point to the reacurrance of her cancer. She has a medical team at the University of Mn that she has the utmost respect for. Her numbers have gone up over the last few checkups. Her surgeon believes in agressive treatment and told her he wanted to go in and check things out. Her surgery started at 7:45 Friday morn and ended at 5 PM. He found some cancer in her diaphragm and her intestines. He aggressively scraped those areas and has a positive outlook for Missy with additional Chemo after she heals. She will have a longer recovery this time. Missy is a very strong individual who would never ask for help. She currently purchased a new home shortly before this all happened. I want her to focus on getting healthy and not on finances. If you can't donate please Keep her in your prayers. Thanks for supporting Missy and Ella. I am Missy's Auntie and love them as if they were my own. Anne Ebertowski
