Support for Mylah's Burial
Donation protected
Richard Joyner, a 34 yr old father of 2 and life partner of 16 yrs now seeking help to bury his 2 yr old daughter that was killed in a fire deliberately set on Tuesday.
2 year old Mylah Joyner, a healthy, active and adorable little baby girl was home with her mom Star Milligan and big brother Makell on Tuesday October 8th when tragedy struck. An angry man, upset with his childrens mother, broke into her home, put her clothes on the stove and turned it on. Flames ravaged through the apartment where Star and her 2 children were relaxing.
Star Milligan is deaf and did not hear neighbors banging on her door screaming "fire fire". Star smelled smoke and started to gather her children to run but was over come by the cloud of thick black smoke and falling to the floor, Mylah also collapsed to the floor where they both took their last breath due to smoke inhalation.
7 year old brother Mekell saw both his mom and baby sister fall to the floor, and darted out the back door and into the hallway where also collapsed from smoke inhalation.
Richard Joyner is now faced with having to bury his 2 yr old baby girl and be there for Star Milligans family as he grieves and prepares for her final arrangements.
The family lost 2 lives and lost everything that they owned in the fire.
Richard needs your help to lay Mylah to her final rest.
