Support for Nadeline's Recovery

Hi everyone, my name is Kelli and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of Alicia Clifford-Sturges. Her granddaughter Nadeline became ill in early June. Alicia took Nadeline to two visits with the doctor, and made three trips to the ER when her condition failed to improve. All of them dismissed it as a virus and said to let it run its course. Alicia knew deep down something was wrong with her grandbaby, and decided to take Nadeline to Shands hospital in Gainesville in hopes of getting a real diagnosis. Shands did a CT scan on Nadeline and found a mass on the medulla oblongata on her brain. A shunt was placed to drain the fluid and relieve the pressure on Nadelines brain. She has been admitted to the ICU and is awaiting surgery to figure out exactly what the mass is and what the next steps are. Nadeline will be two on Thursday (June 22nd) and this is the last way her family pictured celebrating her birthday.

Alicia is in need of donations to help with food, a hotel room and transportation costs since they are not local to Gainesville and are unsure what the duration of their stay will be. They attempted to get in contact with the local Ronald McDonald house for assistance but it is currently closed due to a relocation.

Any amount donated is a blessing and will help Alicia and Nadelines mother Brittany focus on her recovery without the added stress of these expenses.
