This rare and life-threatening autoimmune disease has unleashed its devastating effects on Nadia's body, causing profound deterioration of her skin and her teeth. We don't know how much it has impacted her internal organs yet.

Systemic scleroderma has left Nadia's skin visibly affected, becoming thick, tight, and painfully hardened, even though she's a master at the art of make up you wouldn't know looking at her. This condition not only causes physical discomfort but also significantly impacts her self-esteem and social interactions. Everyday tasks that were once taken for granted have become formidable challenges, and the relentless progression of the disease adds to her overwhelming burden.

In addition to the visible changes, systemic scleroderma will eventually silently attack Nadia's internal organs. The disease's relentless assault on her vital systems may result in a myriad of complications, affecting her lungs, heart, kidneys, and digestive tract.

One of the current most distressing consequences Nadia is facing is the disintegration of her teeth from the inside out. As the scleroderma progresses, her dental health has deteriorated rapidly, leaving her in excruciating discomfort and unable to perform basic functions like eating. The constant pain she endures is not only physically debilitating but also takes an immense toll on her emotional well-being.

As a result, Nadia experiences extreme fatigue and struggles to find the strength and energy necessary to care for her three beloved boys.

As a single mother, Nadia's determination to provide the best possible life for her children is truly awe-inspiring. Despite her own pain and exhaustion, she pushes through each day, ensuring her boys' needs are met and that they experience the love and stability they deserve. However, the relentless progression of systemic scleroderma has made it increasingly challenging for Nadia to fulfill her role as a mother, further exacerbating the emotional and physical toll on her and her family.

Today, we are launching this GoFundMe campaign to rally support for Nadia's urgent dental needs, including medical treatments, ongoing care, and the expenses associated with managing the debilitating symptoms of systemic scleroderma.

Her dentist has informed her that as of right now she needs at least $12,000 worth of work done to prevent further pain. This would cover 2 extractions, bone graphs, implants, and crowns. This is only the beginning with her dental treatment. She has Medicaid insurance but it won't cover it at all. Medicaid basically only covers cleanings and fillings.

By providing financial assistance, we can alleviate some of the burdens weighing heavily on Nadia's shoulders and give her the opportunity to focus on her health, her boys, and finding moments of joy amidst the daily struggle.
