Support for Nagwa Lado's Memorial Costs

Hi everyone,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our loving mother, Nagwa Lado, on July 9th, 2024. Our mother had been struggling with health issues for quite some time, and the last two years were particularly challenging.

About a month before she was admitted to the hospital, she had shown signs of improvement and returned to her normal life. However, on June 17th, she was urgently taken to the ER at Bryan Health in the early morning, where medical staff treated her for a sudden, life-threatening illness and several other health issues. She was later transferred to another hospital, where doctors and medical providers continued her care. During this time, she developed further life-threatening health issues. Despite the doctors’ best efforts to save her, she fought hard but eventually passed away after a long and difficult battle.

She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Our mother and late father, John Bi, came to the United States in 2001 to escape war and provide our family with a better and safer life. She was sincerely devoted and passionate about her goals and dreams surrounding her family and friends. Her essence was love, peace, selflessness, forgiveness, kindness, generosity, and joy. She will not disappear but will remain and flourish through us, her children: Faragalla, Tirieza, Magboula, Minatallah, Sharoon, and Alweya.

It has been extremely difficult for our family to lose not only our father at the end of 2021 but now also our mother, who did everything she could to support us as both a mother and a father after he passed. We kindly ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We would be very grateful for any support, and all donations will be used to help our family with unexpected costs and to bring our mother back home to God. We thank each and every one of you and would appreciate the possibility of sharing this.
