Support for Nate Munoz and Alexis Mendoza-Munoz

We would like to begin by thanking everyone for the amazing amount of support and love shown to Nate and Alexis. As most of us know this has been an extremely difficult road for both of them.
Nate was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer shortly after their engagement. He went through several rounds of chemo only to find out that this cancer was chemo resistant. After undergoing two successful major surgeries, everyone was completely hopeful that they would be able to start their life worry free from his cancer. But that has not been the case.
They were happily married on June 1, 2019, and upon arriving from their honeymoon happy and in love, they came home to discouraging news, that the cancer had returned and had also spread.
After meeting with different doctors here in San Antonio and in Houston at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and completing scans they recived the news that the cancer had doubled in size and was spreading quickly. They were also told by doctors that few options are available because his cancer has become more aggressive than ever.
For only two months, hopes were high that Nate was free from cancer, and with this recent news, they now have to start their marriage fighting this battle. As a result Nate will be starting his first week long session with the strongest form of chemo on Monday (8/19/19) where he will need to be admitted as a patient in the hospital from a week to week basis. This will be ongoing for months as his health allows. Throughout his treatments and through recovery, both Nate and Alexis will be missing a lot of work. This being said, this is going to continue to be a very hard road for both of them.
We are so thankful for anything you may be able to donate. Along with your prayers and support , we may be able to alleviate some of the hardships that go along with this trial. With Jehovah God's help, Nate and Alexis will be able to get through this and look forward to a more happy and stress free marriage and future. Thank you.
