Support for Nicole DiCarlo

Hi family & friends,

Hopefully this note finds you enjoying your summer!

First off, THANK YOU for the incredible support you’ve shown Nicole & her family amidst her recent cancer journey. It’s obviously been an enormous feat to navigate but she feels the love & support of her community through every meal delivered, card written, & prayer received. Keep it up!!!

Second, we wanted to provide an update on her current situation so those of you who love her can continue to pray AND jump in to help even further.

As you may know, back in May, Nicole (aka Miss DiCarlo) was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer called adrenal cortical carcinoma (ACC). She was immediately admitted to the hospital and began chemotherapy treatments.

Fortunately, her recently retired parents flew in from NY and are staying with Nicole indefinitely. In her current chemotherapy treatment plan, she is dependent on daily support from them as well as other family & friends; as such she was unable to complete her school year. She’s also not able to take on her usual summer activities which supplement her teaching income like swim lessons, tutoring, etc.

Her loss of income, combined with her medical expenses, has put her in a tough spot; this is where we’re hoping YOU can jump in to help!!! We’ve started this GoFundMe to help support her financially while she continues to fight.

Nicole appreciates all you’ve done thus far and in advance for being willing to graciously support her in this new way.
