For The Silva Family in Memory of Nicole Silva

Nicole Silva dedicates her life to caring for others - and now we'd like to show her how much we care for her!
Nicole suffered serious and life-threatening injuries in an auto accident on June 14th, 2021. This fundraiser was initially sparked to help Nicole and her family through a long recovery. Nicole, the natural caretaker and selfless human that she is, is now helping others by donating her organs. As her family and friends prepare to say goodbye to her physical presence on this earth, we want to ensure they are cared for in the way Nicole would have wanted.
Nicole worked as a Special Education paraprofessional at an elementary school, and has worked two other jobs to supplement her income while continuing to explore educational paths for her Master's degree. She is a vibrant young woman who loves everything and anything that surrounds her. Her enthusiasm for life and those around her is more than infectious - it is magnetic. She draws people into her orbit like the sun - her rays of joy and love spread out and encompass those who need her light. We all grow a little taller because of it.
Right now, more than ever, Nicole and her family need our support. We are hoping to help alleviate some of the financial burdens that an event such as this creates- so that the Silva family can focus solely on healing. Donated funds will be given to the family to use at their discretion to cover Nicole's medical expenses, funeral expenses and other bills related to this tragic loss.
This fundraiser has been organized by a close friend a colleague of Nicole. The funds will be distributed to her family directly from the organizer and then, as appropriate, through GoFundMe as the beneficiary to this fund.
