Support for Our Beloved Lumberton Lowe's Friend

This man needs no introduction if you have ever visited the Lumberton Lowe’s. Well, last month he was unjustly fired along with several others. They were hard workers and dedicated to their job. Rain or shine, you would see them out gathering, buggies, picking up trash in the parking lot along with loading items for customers. They always had smiles on their faces and went over and beyond to help customers. Nickie especially, would clock out then gather buggies due to Lowes being shorthanded. He wasn’t even recognized for his 20 years of service.

FYI-Nickie was let go after clocking out and gathering buggies because he went out a door he wasn’t supposed to go out.

I had the honor of going to high school with him, where he ALWAYS had a smile, a hello, and normally some good gossip! He keeps me informed of all news concerning any of our old teachers, and anything and everything in between. He is one of the hardest working people and was recently let go from Lowe’s… I know it’s because of political reasons, but there’s not much we can do about that, the important thing is for our community to come together to show how much we appreciate all of his hard work for so many years, and that the people of Robeson County will miss his presence dearly! I know he has said hello and smiled and tried to assist every person he ever encountered at Lowe’s and didn’t expect anything in return… He just loved coming to work, and now he cannot. Let’s help him make his life as blessed as he made all of ours.
