Support for our friend Nancy Pantori
Donation protected
With heavy hearts, we are asking for help for our dear friend Nancy Pantori. Nancy is a loving, selfless woman who has had way too much endure recently. Her husband suffered a brain bleed and stroke and has been hospitalized for the last few weeks. We would like to share her story.
Nancy, a former preschool director, has worked as a paraprofessional for children with special needs children at both Sunrise Park and Sandpiper Shores Elementary. Autistic and intellectually disabled children think of Miss Nancy as a Grandma! She loves them as her own, and at 77 years young, Nancy truly gives to the community. Paras make little financially, but Miss Nancy works as a para because of her devotion to the special needs children. Even last year, in a wheelchair with a broken leg, Miss Nancy rolled into the classroom and into everyone’s heart! With financial stress, Nancy always made sure her coworkers and classroom children were still well fed! (Nancy shows love with her cooking and we are all well fed!) When Nancy’s son was tragically died 2 years ago, Nancy came to work with a smile for her classroom children, despite the pain in her heart. She now has to retire in order to care for her husband, the love of her life for 58 years. Nancy would never ask for help, but as her coworkers and friends, we ask for any financial support to assist with medical bills, construction for home adaptations and homecare. Nancy’s husband is wheelchair bound, suffered loss to his left side and requires round the clock care. Nancy has given of herself for so many years and now it is time for her to receive! We love our Miss Nancy!
