SUPPORTING OUR FRIEND SHANE

Greetings To All,

We are a small group of Shane's close friends in Southern California from high school & college years. We are coming together at this critical moment to rally support for him and his family through this incredibly tough time.

For those that do not know already, Shane was diagnosed with advanced Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (Cancer) in the middle of June this year 2022.

Fortunately, Shane and his family have excellent insurance coverage through Yuli's employment at Whole Foods Market. But, as many of us already know, even the best medical insurance policy available will never cover the entirety of the enormous costs and out-of-pocket expenses involved with fighting this terrible disease.

Shane has vowed to wage war on his illness and fight it with everything he has [which is a lot because he is very strong and in top physical condition otherwise --

SO LET'S DO THIS!!!].

For us, his long-term close friends, we feel it is important to organize this fundraiser for him and provide him the peace of mind and freedom from worry about the mounting medical costs as he marches ardently into this battle.

Update: Shane will begin chemotherapy treatment on Tuesday, July 12th.

A little more about Ronald Shane Coderre:

Shane grew up in Tustin Hills, California, a ubiquitous and fun environment with lots of sunshine and playtime. Surfing, chasing girls and causing trouble with the boys were pretty much the norms. Shortly after high school Shane started his first business and lived on his own with some roommates while the rest of us were still spending summers at home and trying to figure out what to do with our lives.

After a while, Shane was wise enough to figure out that the fast-paced Southern California lifestyle would only be fleeting and that a much more meaningful existence awaited him in North Carolina. He was right; he usually is.

Shane has three daughters he loves very much. Carissa Moriah (32), Dior Gracie Coderre (15), Sage Coderre (9).

Shane is a man of conviction and strong faith. He has always been a dynamic and smart business person, a great and loving father, and a dedicated husband.

If you are reading this, it is most likely you know Shane well. Either from years past or present-day relations.
