Support for Austin McIntyre: To Fight Cancer

Dear Friends and Family:
A week after Ozzy turned 21 he received news that no young adult should ever hear. Ozzy began experiencing severe back pain and was diagnosed with cancer when an unknown mass was discovered after numerous tests and bloodwork were completed. Ozzy had surgery to remove one of the masses on April 20th 2020. It was determined by his oncologist that Ozzy will need 3-4 cycles of chemotherapy that would include 5 days of chemotherapy every 3 weeks with possible surgeries to come in the future.
Those of you who know Ozzy know his character, he's caring, funny, hardworking, loves his family and friends, and is full of life. He spends his off time outdoors with his friends snowboarding, wake boarding, fishing, and playing sports. Ozzy is known to be very ambitious with a strong desire for success and achievement.
With this unexpected diagnosis and surgery, Ozzy and his family have been forced to make many decisions and changes to adjust to these current events.
Ozzy has not been working as a union carpenter since his diagnosis and will not be working until he is through the chemo treatments and is healthy. His mother Joy is living in the Seattle area and has not been working since March 18th and has been on furlough due to Covid-19 and now will continue to be unemployed until Ozzy has completed treatment and is healthy again.
The family has also had to deal with uncertainties of the pandemic that is currently ongoing along with the pressures of coping and dealing with Ozzy's well-being.
My hope is that you will find it in your hearts to consider donating to assist Ozzy and his family with medical expenses, treatments, and travel. I would also encourage you to share this post with others and
to keep Ozzy in your thoughts and prayers. Ozzy is a positive, strong, and determined young man that will overcome this battle. Cancer can't shatter his hope, corrode his faith, silence his courage, or conquer his spirit.
Updates to come.
