Support for Parole Officer Maria Crisafulli

Hi, my name is Rose LeBarron, a good friend and co-worker of PO Maria Crisafulli. Maria has worked as a Parole Officer in the city of Albany for 17 years. Before that, she was a Probation Officer for 10 years. 3 weeks ago, her life drastically changed. She went into the hospital for a broken hip and a fractured arm and had surgery on both. Testing determined that she has lung and bone cancer.

She’s in rehab right now with a scheduled surgery for her back soon. She will begin chemotherapy soon. We are fundraising for medical care not covered by insurance and other unforeseen expenses. She has two daughters at home, a large family and numerous friends in her corner. This support will greatly help in her fight. Let’s let her know that no one fights alone!
