Support for Poole Family's Sudden Loss
Donation protected
Im Ivey and I am making this go fund me on the behave of my cousin Nia Poole. She suddenly lost her husband Reggie on Friday June 21st.
At 2:34 am Tuesday June 18 Reggie complained of being short of breath which sent him into a panic attack. At that point his wife called the paramedics, when the paramedics arrived he was still conscious and speaking and at some point he lost consciousness and went into cardiac arrest. At that point the paramedics started CPR. By the time the paramedics got to the ER it took 40 minutes to fully resuscitate Reggie. During that 40 minutes of CPR Reggie did not have any oxygen going to his brain which caused severe swelling and edema. His heart remained extremely weak as well. After monitoring his brain activity for 24 hours doctors pronounced Reggie brain dead on June 19th. Due to him being and organ donor he was kept on life support until June 21st. Reggie has helped improved the life of others in need by donating his liver, corneas, and skin tissues.
Over the years Reggie had battled stage 4 kidney failure, congestive heart failure, being on oxygen, and being on dialysis. Because of all of these health conditions he faced made it impossible for him to get health insurance.
Reggie and his wife Nia have been together and married for 22 years. They were the love of each others lives. Together they have 5 children Davon (20), Dayton (17), Dalton (9), Dallas (7), and Dalvin (6). Reggie is a loving husband, son, father, brother, cousin, and friend. He was loved by many. Reggie is part of the St. John's Lodge, No 13, Grand Lodge of Ohio, F. & A.M. and a Scottish Rite Freemason in the Valley of Dayton of Ohio. Reggie was highly honored to be part of these organizations.
So my family and I are asking for any help that can be received for the Poole family. To honor Reggies wishes we are asking for donations to help send him home from Tulsa, OK to Dayton, OH. Also donations to go toward helping his wife Nia who is now a single mother of 5 children and widow.
