Support for Rainier Habervo's Funeral Costs
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friend Cathrine Habervo, whose father, Rainier Habervo, recently passed away unexpectedly. As you can imagine, the emotional toll is overwhelming — and so are the financial responsibilities that follow.
We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses, memorial services, and other unforeseen costs during this challenging time.
Anything you can give — whether it’s $5 or $100 — will go directly to the family to support them as they grieve and plan services. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this link with others.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. It truly means the world.
A Message and Tribute from the Habervo Family:
With heavy hearts, we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Rainier Palermo Habervo — a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and treasured friend — on April 9, 2025, at the age of 66.
Rainier was the heart of the Habervo family. Born in Muñoz, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, he moved to Houston, Texas in 1992 with his wife Gloria and their three daughters, building a beautiful life rooted in love, faith, and service to others. A dedicated Boiler Operator for Harris County, Rainier was also a self-taught handyman who could build or fix anything — always with precision, pride, and care.
But more than anything, Rainier was a protector. He made time for everyone. He lit up rooms with his warmth and humor. He never met a stranger. Whether it was through his music, his stories, or his quiet acts of service, he made others feel seen and safe. He loved history, motorcycles, the Beatles, and most of all — his family.
His passing has left a deep void in the lives of those who loved him. As we navigate this heartbreaking loss, we are reaching out for support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, so we can honor Rainier in the way he truly deserves both in Houston and back home in the Philippines.
“Daddy will take care of it.”
He always did — and now, it’s our turn to take care of him.
With love and gratitude,
The Habervo Family
