Support for Ramadan Abu Jazar's Family

“My name is Ramadan and I am 9 years old (although I feel like 90). I was born during the 2014 war on Gaza. I was named after my martyred uncle and was born away from my house, which was targeted during the 2014 war. I come from a modest family and came out of the womb onto struggle. I have witnessed 4 wars and now witnessing the most horrific war known to humanity.

Life in Gaza has become unbearable. Basic life needs are nonexistent even food is no longer available. Our house was struck and we became homeless since the beginning of this war. We have been displaced from one place to the next. Our dreams and future are shattered. We only see death, loss and destruction.

I have big hopes in your efforts to help my family overcome some of these struggles.”

This GoFundMe will raise funds to:

- Evacuate family members who are willing and able to leave Gaza.

- Support relatives who will stay in Palestine.

- Build a life for Ramadan and his family after their evacuation in Qatar.

Many of the family members who are still in Gaza are pictured above. All of their relatives from grandparents to cousins are still in Gaza as they are the only people who have successfully evacuated from their family.

All of us live in California and have been in touch directly with Ramadan and Mahmoud to organize for their support. Funds are transferred weekly to Mahmoud via PayPal who will use them to sustain the life of the family in Qatar, and to share with the family members who are still in Gaza. Some of the family members are seeking evacuation (which is incredibly costly) while others cannot leave or wish to stay. All of them are in dire need of resources. To ensure transparency, we will provide updates to supporters with whatever information we hear from the family in Qatar and in Gaza.
