Support for Rayan Kim’s Surgeries to Recovery

Hello friends, family, community and extended communities. My name is Kristen Penny and I am a close family friend of Rayan Kim and his mom. Due to unseen circumstances, Rayan was on his way to school riding his bike to Gunderson Middle School when he was hit by a truck. Rayan sustained head injury and trauma including a fracture to his jaw and facial bones, broken left wrist, severe road rash to his skin, hemorrhage on his brain and bleeding and half his right ear is gone. Rayan is such a bright light in everyone’s life and a very caring older brother to his younger sister and younger brother. Rayan was very involved in his Catholic church Saint Paul Korean Catholic Church, jiu jitsu and clarinet.
We ask for any assistance for Rayan Kim’s surgeries and road to recovery. His mom is a single mom of three, recently moved to Las Vegas from California and no longer working. It will be a long journey but with your love and support it will help Rayan and his mom infinitely. Thank you so much!
