Support for Raymond and Christa James

On Monday night, April 8th, 2024 the lives of Christa James and Raymond James were taken from this world too soon in a tragic accident. From the James family, we are seeking the help and support of all our family, friends and well wishers to lay our beloved family members to rest. The unexpected death of both Christa and Raymond is a shock to the community as a whole for they were loved by so many. Kileah James (Christa’s granddaughter and Raymond’s niece) was also involved in the accident but miraculously survived. Kileah was admitted to the hospital with non life threatening injuries such as a fractured sternum, small lacerated spleen, bruised lungs and the memory of witnessing everything. She is currently still recovering mentally and physically. At this time we ask for donations to help with funeral expenses, to cover time off work, and to also help raise Kileah once again as we weren’t prepared for the death of Christa and Raymond. Kileah lost her mother, Phalina James, on March 18th 2022 on i80 as well due to a pedestrian vs. car accident. Truly remarkable people, Christa and Raymond’s legacy will be carried on through Lester James, a husband and father, Tenaya James, a big brother and son & Melody James, a sister and daughter, for we need all the help we can possibly have. This will be a long journey to recovery. Thank you to each and every one of you.
