Support for Raymond Maldonado's Funeral Costs

With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we share the unexpected loss of my dad, Raymond Maldonado, who was called home early Sunday morning, March 16, 2025. His passing was both sudden and heartbreaking, leaving our family in shock.
Just a few days before, on Friday, my husband went to pick him up for my daughter’s basketball game, but my dad mentioned that he was having trouble walking due to swollen legs. Later that night, I rushed him to the ER after he began struggling to breathe. Doctors immediately began treatment and diagnosed him with heart failure, kidney failure, fluid in his lungs, and pneumonia. He was admitted to the hospital for care but tragically passed away in his sleep early Sunday morning.
My dad was the type of person who welcomed everyone with love and acceptance. He was the first to offer a joke to brighten your day and always had a way of making those around him smile. He was a kind soul who may not have always been the loudest in the room, but his presence was deeply felt. His laughter, warmth, and easygoing nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of his company.
As we navigate this painful and unexpected loss, we are faced with funeral expenses that we were not prepared for. We are reaching out to our family, friends, and community for help during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering the funeral, memorial service, and related expenses, allowing us to give my dad the farewell he deserves.
We deeply appreciate your love, prayers, and support as we honor his life. If you can’t contribute financially, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity during this challenging time.
With gratitude,
