Support for Recovery and Transportation

I was recently in an accident on my way to training that ultimately resulted in hospital, injuries & time off work. While I'm extremely grateful to be alive I'm sorting through the misfortunes that come from just a moment of mechanical failure. In a world where companies benefit from others hard times most understand how quickly one can fall behind. To keep it short.. tow company wants over $1,000 just to release what's left of my car. Damages itself are well beyond car value. To top things off state police met the ambulance at the hospital just to give me a citation ($130) for "failing to control motor vehicle at highway speed" not speeding but being unable to control my car after brake failure. At this point I'm just looking to pick up the cheapest form of transportation so I can get to & from work before bills stack up. Medical will accept payments. My pride aside, Injuries will heal, debt doesn't show the same mercy. Any amount of effort to help during this time is greatly appreciated.
