David was everything to his wife, Rediet Molaligne, and a loving father to their young daughter, Layla Otanez. David worked tirelessly to provide for his family, ensuring they had a loving and stable home. Beyond his role as a provider, he was an amazing chef who filled their home with love and warmth through the delicious meals he prepared every day. His culinary talents were a daily reminder of his care and dedication to his family.

David was also a passionate advocate for Down syndrome awareness and support, dedicating his time and efforts to making a difference in the lives of many. Additionally, he was a highly skilled martial artist, having completed diligent study and mastery of the art, and was granted SANDAN (3 DAN), showcasing his dedication and discipline in everything he pursued.

In this time of profound grief, we are reaching out to friends and family to support Rediet and Layla. Your contributions will help them cover immediate expenses and other unforeseen financial challenges that come with such a tragic event.
