Support for Renae to support Alex

Dear community,

I spoke to a woman that Alex had been working with for healing this past summer. She was saddened by his current state but told me that the most important thing to do to support Alex would be as a community, to support ourselves and work on our own healing.

One of the beautiful things that has come of this terrible situation is that we have all come together. Renae has been the hub of this group while also being beside Alex and navigating what is happening to him.

I had never met Renae before but we have quickly become friends and I am grateful to have her there with Alex, sending love to him from us all and also keeping us informed of his condition.

She has been there with him this whole time and she has said that there is no other place she’d rather be right now than by his side.

Renae has the flexibility to stay in Toronto because of her own health issues which make it difficult for her to work. She had been receiving funds from the government but those have run out.

Right now, Renae is in a very difficult situation trying to stay afloat financially.

Let’s come together as a community and support Renae so that she can continue to support Alex. Thank you so very much for your care and support, Renae!
