Support for Retired Teacher's Cancer Battle
Donation protected
I have been fighting stage 4 cancer for a little over a year now. My treatments quit working recently and my cancer grew larger and more numerous. I tried to be part of a clinical trial at OSU but I was excluded because I had gotten blood clots. The new treatment calls for two shots in the butt twice a month at first and then once a month.
The second part of my treatment is a new drug called TruQap. It interrupts communication between the cancer cells and a mutation that I have that tells the cancer to grow larger. This new drug just came on the market in November of 23 and it costs $21,000 a month. My out-of-pocket cost is $500 a month which is prohibitive for a retired teacher. Giving any amount is much appreciated and will help me to pay for the drug each month. Thank you so much for reading and considering a donation to help me continue to fight this horrible disease.
