Support for Ricky and Family

Hello, my name is David Dyck, I'm fundraising for my brother John and his family. My nephew Ricky suddenly became very ill on December 12 2022 and was taken by ambulance to The Childrens Hospital of Winnipeg where he was diagnosed with meningitis. This is an aggressive and quick moving disease that attacks the entire body. Ricky lost blood flow to his arms and legs. Doctors have had to amputate his foot, and part of his hand. His skin is severely damaged, so Ricky has undergone numerous skin grafting surgeries, and there are more surgeries coming. John and Susy live 1.5 hours from the hospital so if you consider donating, some the money will be used for traveling expenses and food. They will also need to find a wheelchair accessible home, as the house they rent now is much too small to accommodate the families future needs. Most importantly we ask for your prayers. Ricky and the family have a long road ahead, a long road of therapy and healing. Please pray for strength and wisdom for all involved.
