On November 22nd, Rob suffered from a brain aneurysm. He was rushed to Lutheran General and received emergency surgery. The aneurysm procedure required the implantation of four metal coils to stop the bleeding in his brain. After the risky surgery, Rob was placed on the neurocritical care floor. Unfortunately, Rob became unresponsive and was intubated on a breathing tube. He was unconscious for nearly three days. He awoke to an immense amount of pain and discomfort. Rob is also fighting this battle alone. COVID restrictions forbid all visitors which is making this even more difficult for Rob.
Rob will face a long and difficult road ahead of him. It will take months to recover and it is unknown if he will have future medical issues.
Due to COVID, Rob lost his full-time job as an artist. He is currently working part-time jobs to pay the bills. He is also on the ACA (Affordable Care Act) insurance. ACA may not fully cover his stay in the hospital, surgeries, therapies, medication costs, etc. Plus Rob will not be able to work for the unforeseeable future. That is why your support is greatly needed.
