Support for Robert, Clara and Eloise Hardy

Hi, I'm Liz, Robert's sister. I am writing today to let you know about the sudden loss of Chrissy Davis Hardy. She fought a short but mighty battle against Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and left this world too soon. She leaves behind my brother, Robert, and my two amazing nieces, Clara and Eloise, plus a beautiful family and a whole host of friends who were like family. Robert and the girls are just beginning to figure out how to do life without Chrissy, who was the undeniable heartbeat of their family.

Chrissy was a bright light for all of us...sharing her authentic faith and feelings through her blog, her life, and her work at Knollwood Baptist Church. She touched the lives of so many, and we know there are many who would like to give back to her family.

In response to several requests, we are setting up this page to allow Robert and Chrissy's friends and family to contribute. We've set the goal at $50,000 (or approximately six months of living expenses). These funds would remove near-term financial worries for Robert so he can focus on his and the girls' grief process, and should they be so blessed, provide long-term for the girls' future.
