Support for Robin and Gus

One of our wonderful Kingston families has just experienced a tremendous loss and could use our love and support. On Sunday February 13, Matt Olson unexpectedly passed away at age 46, leaving his dear wife Robin and 13 year old son Gus - a 7th grader at Silver Lake Middle School. The family has a home in a close knit neighborhood, adore their two dogs, recently fostered their toddler nephew, and are among the kindest people you could ever know. Watching them say goodbye to Matt this past week has been heartbreaking. Besides the fact that they have lost a beloved member of their family, Robin and Gus are now faced with the immediate burden of medical and funeral expenses as well as a future without the primary financial provider for the household. As you can imagine these obstacles are overwhelming. Friends of the Olson family would like to rally our community to help raise funds in hopes of alleviating some of this burden. Our hope is to cover all expenses incurred for recent medical care, funeral costs, and to provide a cushion for living expense that will allow Robin and Gus time to grieve without added financial stress. All funds will go directly to Robin. Thank you for helping to support our dear friends during such a difficult time.
