My name is Cody Owsley and I am fundraising to support Roger's family with funeral arrangements. I have been best friends with Roger's sister, Kiara, for over 20 years. The family has endured such hardship over the last 2 months offering daily care to Roger in San Jose despite living hundreds of miles away in either central or southern California, sleeping in their cars near the hospital some nights. With the sudden, severe, and unexpected cancer diagnosis, their lives were turned upside down. At the beginning of Roger's hospital stay, he showed signs of improvement, so the family made the decision to relocate to San Jose, hoping he would survive. They were transitioning their lives to San Jose to position themselves to offer Roger long-term care when, suddenly, his condition worsened. As they deal with the weight of his passing and all that it entails, they are also having to put their lives back together. All the proceeds of this fundraiser will be given directly to Kiara Kline to alleviate the funeral expenses associated with Roger's passing, allowing the family some breathing room to figure out where they are going to land. I know the family will be grateful for any support you're able to offer, whether financial or through prayer. Condolences may be sent to me at:
