Support for Rora
Aurora is an 11th grader at Maple Grove High School who has been battling severe asthma attacks her entire young life. On Monday, May 24 she woke up feeling mildly stuffy and went about her normal day, but quickly progressed to severe shortness of breath not improved with her nebulizers, leading to respiratory failure. She was intubated and flown to OiShei Children's hospital where her lungs continued to have difficulty maintaining her oxygen saturation despite the amazing efforts of her medical team and was placed on ECMO, the heart/lung bypass machine in a continued effort to stabilize her.
Her mother Jen, a firefighter and EMT, remains in the PICU by her bedside while her brother Caleb and sister Gracie are staying with their grandparents.
The family will need help with
cash donations for various expenses
gas gift cards
meals for family
transportation for siblings/family when needed (organized privately)
Thank you all for the prayers, love and support for this family in their time of need and we will be providing updates as we can.
