Support for Rosalie and Woodrow

On Wednesday, March 6th, Ashton & Thomas experienced a parents worst nightmare when both of their children were viciously attacked by 2 pit bulls that had escaped a neighbours yard.

Woodrow received bruises and lacerations that required stitches. Rosalie’s injuries however, were far more severe. She required extensive, reconstructive surgery for facial, scalp and ear trauma.

After spending time in the Stollery Children’s Hospital, everyone is now at home navigating the aftermath of this traumatic event, focusing on healing both physically and mentally.

With the family needing to be close and together at this time, and Rosalie needing around the clock care from her parents, Thomas will be taking a leave from work. I’m hoping that together we can collectively help them relieve their financial burden during this trying time, so that they can focus on their children’s recovery as well as costs that they will be facing moving forward, given the tremendous mental strife these children have suffered.
