Support for Rosie Maitland’s Children – In Loving Memory
Donation protected
The world has lost another beautiful soul.
On Thursday 20/02/20025, our beautiful Roisin tragically passed away, leaving behind her four amazing children Eve, Josephine (Josie), Sarah (who also suffers from Cystic Fibrosis and vision impairment) and of course Archie.
Rosie was a widow who faced life’s hardships with incredible strength and resilience. She lost the love of her life, Scott, in May of 2013 to a senseless One Punch attack here in Coffs Harbour, yet she carried on, raising their children with unwavering love, determination and grace.
Rosie devoted her entire life to her children, ensuring they had the love, guidance and support they needed, despite the unimaginable loss they suffered at such a young age. She was their protector, their provider, their biggest cheerleader and their safe place. She worked tirelessly and endlessly to give them the best life possible, juggling everything on her own while never once complaining. She was both mother and father, teaching them strength, kindness and resilience and they have turned out to be the most amazing, strong, loving, remarkable, extraordinary, thoughtful and caring humans around.
Her children were her entire world and everything she did was for them. Rosie gave them everything she had. She was selfless. She was strong. She loved fiercely. She was passionate, funny, talented and incredibly smart. And I truly believe she has died of a broken heart.
While our hearts break for the loss of our precious Rosie, we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with Scott in heaven, watching over their children together.
Now, in the face of yet another heartbreaking loss, we could not be more proud of Eve, Josie, Sarah and Archie. They are inspiring, brave and exceptional, just like their amazing mother. In this unimaginable time, they are holding each other up with the same love and courage that Rosie instilled in them. They are incredible and they deserve all the love and support we can give.
We are raising funds to cover Rosie’s funeral expenses and to provide for any immediate needs they may face during this unimaginably difficult time. If you are able to contribute, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to her children and family. And if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word.
Let’s honor Rosie’s legacy by ensuring her children feel the love and support she gave so freely to everyone around her.
The world is now sadder, smaller and less bright without her in it.
