Support for Ryan and Kay McGuigan
Donation protected
Hi friends,
We wanted to send an update on Kay. She has been fighting her battle with cancer for over a year and damn, she put up a fight. Unfortunately, we have started to prepare for her final days.
Your messages checking up on her and Ryan have meant the world to them and we ask that you keep them, and their kids, in your thoughts. Everyone is getting the help and support they need and Kay is surrounded by love.
In lieu of flowers and cards, we ask that you consider making a donation to the GoFundMe page to support Ryan as he transitions into his new chapter. It would also be so great if you could leave a note for Kay here, so we can let her know just how loved she is.
We will keep you updated as we learn more.
Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts. You have helped make this past year much easier on their family.
From Ryan and Kay:
I wanted to take a moment to personally thank all of you for your kind words, thoughts, prayers, texts, phone calls, e-mails, cards, gifts, and the extreme generosity shown to us on this page.
The past 3 months have been difficult, scary and overwhelming. As we (Ryan and I) start this journey fighting a mighty battle, I have been reminded over and over again of the goodness in people. And I have been reminded of the power of prayer and in the power of Love. The outpouring of affection we have received has been breathtaking and I want to say to each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart: Thank YOU. I love you all so much.
They say in this life, when you feel vulnerable and heartbroken, it only takes one person to come along and help pick you back up. And that is exactly what you have done for us. I have been scared, grief-stricken, crushed and frankly utterly lost these past few weeks. But with your love, prayers and encouragement, I have gained so much strength. This has been the hardest situation our family has ever faced and YOU all have eased our burden and lifted us up in more ways than you can imagine. Thank You. We Love You. I am going to fight like hell.
Please continue to pray for us.
Love to you All,
Ryan & Kay J. McGuigan~
