Support for Sade Jr., daughter of Thomas Davenport III

Hello,

On Friday, September 13, 2024, our classmate Thomas Davenport III (affectionately known as Buddah) lost his life to gun violence. In addition to his adult son, Ty-Marion, he is survived by his wife, Sade Broadnax-Davenport, and daughter, Sade Davenport Jr.

Thomas and I frequently crossed paths as our daughters were best friends and attended the same daycare facility. I would love for our class to support Sade Jr. during this most difficult time. The tragedy of losing her father was compounded by the fact that he was killed on her 5th birthday.

I am kindly asking that we show our classmate some support by coming together to provide his daughter a love offering to help offset any support that she may need over the coming months. If you’ve ever met Sade Jr., you know she is the sweetest girl that had her daddy’s smile and sense of humor.
