Support for Salotto Salon San Diego

Donativo protegido
Salotto Salon is owned and operated by Master Stylists and married couple Anthony and Corinne Lam, both life-long beauty professionals. Together, for the past 15 years, they have recruited dozens of newly licensed stylists providIng them with guidance and training that beauty school does not teach, leading them into more lucrative careers in the business of beauty. Many are now scattered across the country enjoying successful careers and their eight stylists who were once happily employed at the mom and pop shop in our pre-covid19 world may soon need to look elsewhere for employment if something doesn’t change soon. When allowed to reopen, Salotto Salon will be working at less than half capacity to follow social distancing guidelines and has recently invested thousands of dollars to prepare the ultimate safe space for their community. The Paycheck Protection Program confirmed their application on April 15 and still no funding has come through. This salon must survive to continue the work that most salons don’t offer. In the meantime, personal debts are sky rocketing and all the while the owners two young boys are enveloped in joy to have both parents home, none the wiser to the grim possibilities all small businesses face during these times. With your support, Salotto Salon will survive this pandemic and will remain a pinnacle in their community. With their ultimate prayers answered, Salotto owners hope to work with their very patient (and still unpaid) landlords to pursue other options to offer a salon home to those who have been displaced Thank you for your prayers and support!
