Support for Scearce Family

Theresa and Brian Scearce have a lovely family in Midlothian,VA. About 5 months ago they welcomed baby Colton who had known cardiac issues. He went through his first cardiac surgery 1 week after birth. He recovered well and thrived but needed a second surgery. Around 4 months old, Colton re-entered UVA hospital for his second surgery. For an unknown reason Colton coded after being extubated. After being resuscitated, he has exhibited signs of some brain injury. After a long month at the hospital, he has finally returned home. Colton, as a result of unforseen events, requires lots of extra care and attention. We are collecting money to help the family have some respite care and household help. Any amount is helpful.
