Support for The Schrader Family
Donation protected
On behalf of the Schrader Family, we would like to thank everyone who has prayed, reached out and has asked what they can do to help.
While there are no words that will change the loss of Jason, only love and prayers will give the true support this family needs.
However, as friends and community, we can all come together to help ease the burden during these uncertain times.
We feel like the greatest thing we can do for Shelly and Jim right now is to allow them to grieve at home, in peace without the added stress of finances.
If you can not donate, that is ok! Please PRAY and SHARE. There is also a meal train for those who would like to provide food as a way of support.
Shelly opened her heart and tried to describe Jason in words ...no one can do that better than a momma.
He is 16. Loved to hunt and fish. Was working with a buddy at white bluff next week and they were going to pool their money and buy a John boat to fish. He was even thinking about going to school to get his captains license to be able to guide fish at the coast after graduation. He was in 10th grade in Whitney.
He was a loyal friend to everyone he met.
He always took up for the underdogs in school.
He liked video games but only when he couldn't be outside.
He was a prankster, mischievous and always went right to the line--
Occasionally putting one foot over it. Typical boy.
We were so close. So so close. I would text him good morning every day that I left for work. When I got busy and forgot he would text me, with a smart aleck comment of course. Lol.
He was always smiling. Always laughing.
The neighbor is elderly and would fall occasionally. They would call him and he would come over to help him get up. He would get their trash can after they came to empty it and take it back to their house when he could.
He loved hard and laughed harder.
Thank you again and please remember to pray for the Schrader family as they learn to navigate this new journey without Jason.
