Our Story
Hi, my name is Landon and I am fundraising for all of the incredibly brave community members that have come together to fight the fires affecting Scotch Creek and Lee Creek.
If you weren't aware, some incredibly brave community members throughout Scotch Creek and Lee Creek have been restlessly fighting 24/7 to keep the fires under control, some even staying up for days at a time. I have personally had the honor of helping their efforts and putting out fires the past few days and am astounded by these men and women's selfless bravery. Their main focus has primarily been the fires that continue to flare up around Hilliam Road and Lee Creek, but also the surrounding areas with their mobile units.
How You Can Make A Difference
By contributing to this GoFundMe campaign, you are directly supporting our courageous community members in their fight against the fires that threaten our homes, forests, and cherished memories. Community members have already spent thousands on equipment and supplies, all out of pocket. Your donations will be used to provide:
- Essential Equipment: From fire hoses and water pumps to fire-resistant clothing and fuel for pumps and generators, your support will ensure our brave firefighters have the resources they need to face the blaze head-on.
- Emergency Supplies: Your donations will help provide necessities like food, water, and medical supplies to sustain our firefighters during their arduous shifts.
- Evacuation Support and Community Rebuilding: Any additional funding will be allocated to aid evacuees and displaced families. Once the fires are under control, we'll channel resources into rebuilding our community, helping families and businesses affected by the wildfires get back on their feet.
