Support for Sean Nies & Family

Hi, our names are John and Katie and we are here to seek support for Sean Nies. Sean's wife Becky recently lost her courageous years long battle with cancer. Unfortunately, this battle not only has taken the love of Sean's life, but it's also left him with substantial medical costs as well as the burden of her final arrangements.

Becky was one of the most generous, loving human beings we were blessed to have known. She was so many things to all of us! Wife, mom, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, teacher. She was a gentle soul who gave her love freely to all that crossed paths with her. The two of them were always willing to help others, generously devoting their time and treasure to taking care of special needs kids, disabled adults, and of course being there for friends and family. Becky supported Sean's career in the Navy, working hard to take care of their home and family while he was away on deployment.

Becky and Sean's love for each other was of the rarest sort. The two were rarely apart and it was evident that the joy they experienced together only grew with each day. Sean's devotion to Becky over the many years of her struggle with cancer kept him by her side, at the ready to help her live to the fullest and make her best attempt at recovery.
