Support for Sean "the Garv" Garvey

A good friend Sean "the Garv" Garvey, a long-time Hicksville, NY resident, graduate of Hicksville High School and now living in Florida, has been going through a rough time this year due to ongoing medical issues and is in need of financial assistance. As a diabetic he has had medical concerns but this year has been particularly hard.

In March 2021, without realizing he lost feeling in his feet, due to diabetes, he walked on hot pavement and wound up in the hospital for two months with doctors eventually amputating one toe.

After being released and going to rehab doctors had to remove another toe in October 2021 putting him in the hospital for another two months. During this time in the hospital doctors realized he had a heart condition resulting in triple bypass surgery.

Unfortunately after the bypass surgery he also suffered a series of mini-strokes. This required intense rehab. Back in rehab again this December he fell and was sent back to the hospital where doctors treated him for fluid on the lungs.

Sean has always been active in the golfing community working as a Tour Director/Sales Rep for a golfing company but due to his medical conditions, this year, he was terminated from this position. He is currently only working part time at a children's rec center.

So many set backs this year creates a financial hardship and he is having a difficult time meeting expenses including rent, utilities and medical costs.

Any small amount would greatly help Sean and his three boys ages 18, 16 and 14.
